What is Self-Compassion?
A definition? Self-Compassion is being as kind to o ourselves as we are to a dear friend. It is taking care of ourselves in a mindful way so we can continue to care for others.
Self-compassion is realizing you are not the ONLY one who has thoughts that judge ourselves and everyone else.
Those negative thoughts and difficult emotions are trying to protect us.
Compassion for yourself is being present in this moment. Aware of your surroundings; Aware of your body; Aware of your thoughts.
It means having EMPATHY for yourself.
